of movie marathons and bowling

afta a long time i'm posting...
btw, just wanted to share that today was one of the best days of my life...
starting with, i was finally got to watch Night at the Museum 2 with my bestie, Lavan after planning it ages ago...
plus one of her cousin sis (Thulsy) in the tow....thankfully she's kinda fun
the original itinery:
1. watch Night at the Museum 2 (2.30pm show)
2. maybe go for a bowling session and some arcade games
3. head home by 6pm like 'good' girls
but unfortunately...the only available tickets when we got there were the front row seats...desperate as we were...we didnt want an annoying after-movie-pain-in-the-neck...so we checked out when was the next show...
it was at 7pm!!
so the next prob was to convince our mommies to let us watch this show...
and thus began the drama...well...not alot surprisingly...
lavan called her mom and her mom agreed. then i called my mom and she too agreed...that alone shocked me and Lavan cos that was THE MOST SPEEDIEST OK that we've got. the next person was Thulsy's mom...
her mom was a bit tough to convince mainly bcos of her bro...(that's a diff story...but i dont wanna elaborate)...
but in the end Lavan did her magic and convinced Thulsy's mom... :D
the plan was to get those tickets and then plan what we could do to kill those remaining 5 hours...and with the suggestion of the girl at the ticket counter (who's actually an acquaintance - Ratna), we got tickets to another movie...just before Night at the Museum 2...it was Monsters vs Aliens...
so the NEW plan was:
1. go for bowling...probably 2 rounds
2. watch Monster vs Aliens (it was a 4.45pm show)
3. 30 mins break...
4. watch Night at the Museum 2 (7pm show)
5. head home....like aforesaid "good" girls ;P
and one of the best parts were during bowling...halfway thru our game, we met a good friend of ours, Kiru...so we asked her to join us...although it was halfway...which meant her game would be slightly extended...but that didnt bother us...after that, we had a round 2...
boy, that was fun :D
plus with cam-whoring too...hehe...
thereafter, we had to go off for our movie, while Kiru had to head back home...so we said our goodbyes and when for Monsters vs Aliens
some funny things:
1. when M vs A started, Lavan asked why is this movie diff...she thought we were watching NATM2 first...lolx...
2. i was finishing my drink and that's when Lavan asked for it...she did that the last time too :P
3. we ran back into the theatre after M vs A finished cos we didnt know that after the ending credits there were some clips being shown...
4. after we came out, we checked the tickets for NATM2...it was playing at the same ciniplex no.2 (where we were watching M vs A) and we had gotten the EXACT same seats...
5. naturally we sat at the EXACT same place... :P
*sigh*
